The Great Greek in Los Angeles

Seriously the best Greek food I have ever had.

The experience was excellent. They were very conscientious about social distancing. The food was fresh and amazing as always.

They have great Greek foods. Keep in mind if you are decided to choose from lunch menu, you should order before 4 PM. I’m little picky on meats so my favorite is Gyro sandwich from their lunch menu. You can order some items from dinner menu while it is before 4 PM. The positive point of COVID19 is the outdoor dining. They have few tables on side walk for dine in.

Good taste of greek food here. The oven-roasted Spring lamb wasn't that great it looked like its stove cooked in a soup but the chicken Athenian was worth it.

We've been enjoying the wide variety of food here for years. You can eat a different dish every day for a month and still have something new to try. The avgolemono soup had just the right amount of lemon. The pastitsio crema and touch of nutmeg was perfect. The mousaka spices made the eggplant and potato delicious. The spanakopita cheese was not overpowering and made the spinach yummy, perfect filo. We took the rizogolo home for dessert later and it was most delicious with the small addition of golden raisins. We highly recommend the food and weekends offer live bouzouki music and dancing. 🇬🇷🏺

Big spacious booming fun delicious, live music, really good waiters, full bar, nice atmosphere. Kid friendly. They even have a decent kids menu.

This place is a gem! I can't believe I didn't know about it sooner! We got the yelp meal special--two gyro wraps and feta appetizer plus two glasses of wine for $25! The ambiance is awesome and most of the employees seemed friendly.One small note; I'd recommend wrapping gyros in foil, as they were only wrapped in paper, and the moisture from mine made it fall apart so I had to eat it like a salad. Can't wait to try more dishes here!

We went for a birthday celebration and ordered the Family Feast. Honestly I came with great expectation, I love Greek food, but I was so disappointed. Out of 14 diffrent types dishes, I only enjoyed few; the salad, the beef, the chicken and the eggplant melitzanosalatathe. The other items were not even close to my expectation. Even the cappuccino I ordered was not a real cappuccino. I am not sure if I want to come back. One thing stood out, was the music. We enjoyed it so much. I am giving 5 star for the live music.

Very good food! But, used to be much better. I think they have a bad chef. But its fun on weekends with *entertainment and Dancing around the Room. Is real fun!

Home style cooking with a chill ambiance. The taste is a little strong personally and the service can get a little slow. All in all a good price and a happy tummy. Also valet parking is available but costs an arm and a leg. One of the only Greek restaurants in the Sherman oaks area so RECOMMENDED

Pretty good and fresh food for American Greek restaurant (don't expect authentic Greek cuisine though). We ordered "family feast" and enjoyed trying a little bit of everything. My favs were geek salad, tzatziki, kalamaria, eggplant spread, fassolia beans, dolma, and spinach feta pie 😋 I also had some delicious greek white wine. The least favorite were hummus (it had very odd taste not sure if by mistake or design) and pastitsio (very weird baked macaroni dish, wouldn't recommend). The service was very good👌And with all the pandemic around these guys keep everything super clean, safety rules are followed, everything feels super safe in there.

Great place with friendly staff and excellent Greek food. We had a large party there, the whole place was fun and charming with live music and equally lively patrons. Good times!

I can only say great things about the menu, music and dancing waiters. Our reservation was for party of 12 for my wife’s birthday for Saturday night. Valley parking is $7 but very convenient and courteous. We had 4 kids in our group and they all enjoyed an evening of Greek food, music and dance. Everyone loved their food: we tried vegetarian platters, salads and calamari. From the main dishes, the most popular were Whole Fish and Char Broiled Salmon. Kids loved their butter pasta. Musicians and dancing waiters are the heart of this restaurant.The reason for less than 5-star review is my disappointment in their service. My reservation was for my wife’s birthday and specifically asked to note that. Not only she didn’t get symbolic piece of cake or Happy Birthday song, she didn’t even get greeted for her birthday. Even musicians told me that it was restaurant tradition but while other parties were celebrated, I felt disappointed especially being in the Greek family restaurant.

We had so much fun for a New Year's Eve! Great music, lots of dancing great food and energy

Always a great time at the great greek! Love v the service, love everything about it. Our server, Pedro, was one of the nicest server I know! Love it!

Amazing would highly recommend service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious 👌
